Digital Nomads who are non EU/EEA citizens and have a remote working job online, either working for themselves or for a company that is located outside of Croatia can apply for this visa. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria:

- Valid Travel Documents: You should have a valid passport or equivalent travel document. Additionally, you need a temporary address in Croatia, which can be a confirmed booking or a rental agreement with a Croatian landlord.
- Valid Health Insurance: Your health insurance must be valid for the entire duration of your stay in Croatia.
How to Apply for Croatia Digital Nomad Visa
Step 1: Select Your Application Method
Choose whether to submit your application online or in person. If you’re applying in person and need a visa to enter Croatia, submit your application at a Croatian embassy or consulate abroad, you can check the list of Croatian Embassies to find your nearest one.
If you’re applying in person and don’t require a visa, you may submit your application either at a Croatian embassy or consulate or at the local police administration/police station corresponding to your temporary residence address.
Step 2: Submit your Application

You can monitor the status of your application online or by reaching out to the embassy. You will be notified of the decision via email or letter. If approved, you will be issued a temporary residence permit valid for up to 12 months.
Step 5: Register Temporary Residence
When you arrive in Croatia, you must register your temporary residence address at the local police administration or station within 3 days. While you’re at the police station, you must also obtain a biometric residence card, which will function as your official identification throughout your stay. A fee is required for the card, and the amount varies based on the application location.
